Big NEWS!
Last night on the way to church lacie was having a snack. We were almost to church when I heard her sweet little voice say Mama.. uh Mama?! I said what? and turned my head to look at her. She was trying to give me her snack bowl!! SO, Instead of screaming at me or throwing the bowl down she called for me!! :) This is the very first time she has done that!!!!!!!!! I said Thank You JESUS... He is answering my prayers!! Everyday and week she makes more and more progress! But This made me so happy!!

Noah~
Noah is doing really good. He is still on the boob... but he is happy and healthy! Wow he needs constant attention! I am so glad that lacie is around to keep him entertained.. I think I would go crazy trying be a "show" for him!! He still isn't sitting up by himself.. he just doesn't want to! I try to help him sit up and he will sit for a second.. and then.. oooo he has spotted something that he wants and he just flops to the floor. lol.. oh well.. I think he going to love to be loud. I think this because I notice when I play with him the louder and more ruff and ridiculous I am the happier he is.. ooo He is gonna be fun fun for everyone!!

Me and the hubs at the Christmas party. I guess it was fun... Brian always does the entertainment soo ... I am usually left alone or with Christy. It seems like when we do have time together there is always someone trying to take him away. Guess Im going to start using a tazer on these people. Ya, that should do it. But I guess I really cant be mad with them.. they don't see the day in and day out of me a alone with two kids. All they know is they never see him either and hey there he is ... so why not take advantage of the situation?!! I hope everyone hasn't got broad with praying about Brians job situation. I know its been over a year.. but we still need your prayers more than ever. Feeling like I need to send a prayer cloth to work with Brian and have him sneak it into his boss's room.. and let God do whatsoever He will. mmm.. Hope that its something that I would like to do to his boss like... No sleep,sick to his stomach.. and headache .maybe even a little back pain.. .. with a voice in his dreams saying" give Brian a HUGE raise or else!"

The past month

This in my opinion as been a pretty good month. :) I have learned a few new things to cook for lacie... and she loves them! ( and so do I) ;) She is starting to use small sentences all by herself without repeating everything I say. She still does repeat just about every word that comes out of my mouth, but yesterday she figured out how to turn on a toy all by herself. After she got it on she said "yay! I did it" !! I was so happy!!! A NEW sentence and I didn't even say it first!!! This to me is big news!

Just Stuff

Noah's dedication was this past Sunday. It went pretty good. Sorry the picture is dark.. it was just the light in the church. ;(

This picture was taken a few weeks ago ... Noah is starting to sit up a few seconds at a time.. :) so I thought I would take a pic.. and I love his shirt and I think he looks soo cute in it!

Noah and Naina ~ Noah was just about 5 months old in this pic. it was taken at the beginning of October. He is the sweetest cuddle bug.. lil snickerdoodle. ;) ya, aaa my little snickerdoodle.

Trick or Treat!

Trick or TReeet! Here she comes!! The night went ok..? Lacie did cry every time we left a house.. I dont know if she really got it? Maybe next year will be better.

All About Lacie

This was lacie this morning before church. Isn't she soo sweet? .. yeah she is. :) It has been awhile since I posted any pictures of her.. She really likes this dress. She told me this morning.. "dress.. dress.. pretty dress" :) I think its cute that she is so into fashion at such a young age. She LOVES shoes..hehe.. She has had such a bad attitude this last couple of weeks. I don't know what is going on with her? Hope this stage will be over soon!

Lacie .. cooking it.. hehe.. as soon as she sees me cooking she runs as fast as she can to the kitchen swings her arm up for me to pick her up and says with her sweet face..

" I cook it"? lol.. so.. I let her "help" when I have the time. She thinks she is big and that she cooked dinner.. :) Uh! I will be glad when she can.. haha :)

Nursing~

Well, I pumped this morning ... and put it into the sippy cup! Noah did like it and did well considering it was his first time! But .. when he started getting sleepy.. and was really ready to eat he wanted to nurse. I wanted to post some pictures of him nursing because he is just so sweet ... he just snuggles himself close to me.. and holds on to me..like I am the best thing in life. It makes me feel so good to be able to have the special time with him.. It is an incredible experience... I love it.. and I love Noah.. I am in no hurry to get him to use the sippy. :)

Noah

Noah ... He is getting so big! He is reaching for my face and grabbing anything that even so much as crosses his path! He leaped on lacie today! She thought it was funny. .. and so did I. I got him his own sippy cup tonight! I am gonna pump some tomorrow and give it a try. I can not believe that he is ready for this already.. I am kinda happy kinda sad. He is my baby .... my second baby.. I am not ready for this.. but then I am ..LOL.. good grief.

A blessing to be called mommy.

I am having a hard time tonight :( feeling a little down about lacie. Tonight was the Halloween party at church, and instead of lacie enjoying herself.. .. she hated it. She screamed and cry ed almost the entire time.
My mind goes back to earlier this year when all day everyday my mind was consumed with teaching Lacie. I had so much that I needed to get her caught up on that's all I could think about. When I was teaching lacie that my name is mama she was about 2 or a few months after her 2end birthday. I would take her finger and point it at myself and say mama and then take her finger and point it at herself and say Lacie. My heart just breaks thinking about that. To this day that is the only was she uses my name.. she doesn't call for me when she needs me... I dont ever hear her say Mama .. mama... .. mamam...~! Or mama look as she points to something. why? why? cant she do this? When she see's other people that she knows she will say their names... but never mine? Unless of coarse she is just playing the name game.. ie* this is a drink, this is a shirt.., Noah, Lacie, Mama, Daddy. Why cant she tell me whats on her mind. Not just a one word conversation. My heart is breaking.. I am tired of people with good intentions who do not understand what I am going threw.. tell me that everything is ok. I know that Lacie has came along way. I mean she started the diet back in late January.. early February and she couldn't speak one word.. not one. she could not wave good bye or hello. she wouldn't point at anything ever. she couldn't even play patty cake. .. and she was getting close to being 2 years old. I know we have made some serious progress this past year.. .. my heart just breaks when I see her struggle.. and it comes so easy to other children. .. If I hear another mother complain that they wish their kids would stop calling their name.. mommy mommy.. .. mommy.. I think I might scream. That is a blessing.. It is a blessing to be called mommy.

A penny for my thoughts.

Hey everybody!! This picture is a few months old... but I was just bumming around online.. and was thinking I should get around to my blog to freshin' things up... So just a sweet little picture of lacie playing with her barbie. .. on a different note.. I know that matthew and rebekka are in Colorado right about now... I hope that are so happy with where they are staying.wouldnt know because matthew has a complex and can not call me back.. ? Oh rebekka if you are reading this I have been on your blog a lot but for whatever reason it wont let me leave comments..? soo. dunno what is up with that? but I did want you to know that I just love the picture of Udi in the big box.. I wrote that I wanted to mark ship to arkansas on the box.. maybe country circle..? lol I know fat chance.. lol :) and it is really funny that we both took pictures of our little guys with our sunglasses on.!! you know what they say great minds think alike... thats definitely us great minds.. :)

While I was tuckin' in lacie tonight we were talking about Noah and how much we love him.. and how great it is that she has a little brother that she can play with. So I decided while the moment was right why not pop the question about having another baby... she had a little twinkle in her eye and said very softly BABIES.. ooo .. I thought that was to funny.. and then I pushed the limit when I told her yes, you will have to share me with Noah and the other baby... and she looked down .. and said.. umm.. dwink.. ?.. lol oh, my sweet nugget! I think that was enough for her to think.. ok.. I guess I can not do anything about Noah.. but Im gonna completely ignore all this ridiculous talk about another baby... interfering with my play time.. aa, I love her.. never a dull moment.. I love being a mommy.. God has truly blessed my life and given me great kids. Thank you Lord for all the great gifts in my life.

Me.. This morning after church.. wanted to post a pic... I have finally reached my goal weight ... geeze... 4 months and 1 week after little Noahs arrival.. But now that I reached it Im thinking another 5lbs wouldnt hurt! :) I got lots of complements this morning on how thin I looked.. aa that does a number for you self esteem..:) feeling good.. and thin lol

A trip down memory lane.

This was Lacie at about 2 weeks of age.. she probably weighs about 4 1/2 pounds in this picture. I was looking threw all the downloaded pictures to try and find something to post..mostly for mom, because I know she will be on here in the morning and want to know why I am being lazy. lol :) Well, I came across this picture, and started thinking about lacie today. How sweet and full of life she is.. how she remembers where I hid the bubbles ... how anything can quickly become a hat.. kisses are freely given along with big hugs and her tiny hands patting my back. It is things like that ... that make being a mom so rewarding.. she has no idea when she does these things how it makes my heart smile. Just look at the tiny little 4 pound girl... cant you hear her say.. oodles.. ( noodles.) .. :) I ook it. ( I cook it).

potty

Lacie peed in her potty this morning... she told me that she needed to potty.. and so we went to the potty like always (she tells me often that she has to potty and nothing every happens) but this morning she went!!! Her diaper was completely dry! I was so overcome with joy!! She is now wearing her big girl panties!! I'm one proud mommy!!

Betty Crocker gluten free!

Great News! Yesterday while I was out getting grocery's I found Betty Crockers GLUTEN FREE cake mix, and brownie mix! So naturally I bought them. I whipped up the brownies this afternoon.. and they are fantastic!!! Lacie said and I quote "wow, so guoood... I more cookie". ;) aaa.. so wonderful to have something readily available at wal mart. THANK YOU BETTY CROCKER ... oh by the way I did call betty crocker and they are all dairy free as well.. enjoy everyone!!!

These pictures were taken friday afternoon... Noah playing in his exersauser! This was the first time I put him in it! He did good. He liked the toys and tried hard to get them. :) I feel so blessed.. He is only 3months old.. and look at what all he can do. I just didnt know how great it can be to have a little baby. I guess if you never have it bad .. you really cant fully appreciate the good.

Just today

On a different note church went really well. I kept Lacie in the front with us.. and she did awesome. Im really proud of her. Noah also did very well. Church itself was OK. not much to report. Its 5th sunday so I think everyone was thinking.. about what they were going to do tonight or this afternoon.. since there isnt going to be any church tonight.. oh mom .. sis. fontentoe said to tell you that she missed you .. and hi. : )

I havent talked to Rebekka or Matthew.. but I have been praying that they would have a blessed trip! I know it must be nice to have some time alone! : ) much needed I KNOW.

Gluten free

Gluten and dairy free goodies
I made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting everyone loved it! Brian said that it tasted better than a betty crocker mix! Lacie loved it as well.. I gave her a little bite on the spoon... "mmm so guood" the frosting mix is made by cherrybrook and it is free of all common allergies including egg and nuts.

Do I even need to say anything? I think the expression on Noah's face says it all! oh, and I love the stroller... uh what a work out pushing all 50 lbs up the hill.. ooo feel the burn! Lacie and Noah loved it too.. lacie reached over and held Noah's hand... I thought I felt my eyes tear up... so much love!

OOo. k.. Lacie doing a little potty training...I told her.. ok lacie go sit on the potty.. and she told me. ..very concerned .as she ran off.. but. I need my hat .. uh.. maybe the hat will be magic.. and help her potty? :)
