Well, Really I have no excuses as to why I have neglected my blog for almost 5 months. . I'm sure a simple I'm sorry will make all of you feel better right? So here it is .. I'm sorry. I'm sitting here trying to think back on the past few months.. wondering where did all my time go? I would like to say I have some great story to fill you all in on something really interesting, and news worthy. Sadly I don't. Such a disappointment I know!! lol. .. aaa, but I guess that's just life right? I mean the days drag on and the weeks fly by.. before you know it you're putting up your Christmas tree with the kiddies singing I'll be home for Christmas loudly and off beat. Aaa, yes that is life.
I heard a song on the radio today and during the chorus it says "life isn't always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride". I absolutely couldn't agree more! It seems for me at times I let my emotions rule over me.. taking all my thoughts on a ridiculous ride that has so many loops and turns I feel sick. .. every now and again I pull it together getting back to reality and on with my life. I'm looking forward to the day I can be as grounded as my Mom. She is a woman who has her act together! And from where I'm sitting she always has! She handles life with ease or so it seemed as I watched growing up.
So, I have been rambling on now for a while... time to turn out the lights and get some sleep. .. Tomorrow is a new day on this beautiful ride.

Making Changes!

I have decided to go gluten free for a while. I decided this, this morning. Yesterday I had the WORST migraine headache I can remember having. When I woke up this morning from a horrible nights "sleep" (more like nap) and still had a headache. I thought to myself.. why?... why?... why? am I still in pain?... I have two small babies who are depending on me and there is no room for a mommy with no energy who can not sleep and is constantly getting sick... So with all my given' knowledge of food. I have decided it would be smart to go gluten free for a while and see if I can't be a "Patty" =) For those of you who don't know.. Patty is my mother in law. She is full of energy, never gets sick, has never had a migraine headache, sleeps good EVERY NIGHT, and is constantly on the go!! I don't know another person on this earth who is as blessed as she to have such good health!! I want patty health and energy! ... So IF its gluten I'm willing to try!
PS. I'm in the middle of painting my room.. its coming along.. and I will post pic's when its done =)

well so much as happened since my last post in April.. Lacie started preschool, Noah turned one and he is walking.. and I have really
let the ball drop with up dating my blog... so sorry to all my family..
I know how it feels to keep dropping by blogs and NEVER see an
update.. And I'm sorry I don't have any "new" pic's to update with..
my cord to connect the camera to the computer is missing in action!
UP DATE * lacie*
*She is talking better.. and saying things like "I go potty then I gets milk".
"I go potty then I colors". "Mommy open the door" Mamas sit down"
"lets go shopping".. "No! Noah its Yacies"..
*She is very opinionated about her food... "mamas I want chicken.. I want corn qwikes (flakes) Mamas I have peanut butter and jelly sandwich (her favorite)!!
*She loves school.
*She loves family.
*She is going to her big girl Sunday school class at church. I love all the cute stuff she makes for me.. although at this time she can't tell me what she did in class.. its still sweet when she brings me her art work and sings I'm in the Lord's army Yes sir!
*She knows the days of the week and months of the year
*she is learning to write
* she is still having accidents with the potty. :( I don't know what is going on with her? Sometimes she does awesome and then sometimes
not so much.. Please help me pray about this!

* He is completely weened as of last Friday! I can't believe its all most
been a week. I won't lie it was emotional.. I cried when I put him to bed.. he is growing up.. and I'm going to miss that sweet bonding time.. I can't believe how fast this past year went by..I'm so proud of myself.. I did it!! I breastfed my baby 13 months!!!

*He doesn't listen to the word NO until you scream at him.. and even then ... it just depends on how bad he wants it. lol
*He is a snugly lil guy
*He loves to eat... and boy can he pack it away!
*He has 8 teeth
*He is such a joy! The Lord really did bless me with rest and comfort when he gave me Noah.. (rest and comfort is the meaning of his name)

Well,.... Is everyone tired of opening my blog and not seeing anything new?... mm?.. Sorry. Once again I have let the ball drop! My life at this
point is so busy and full. For those of you who don't know Lacie started
pre-school this week. It's been well... I don't know if there is a word to describe it. Its been wonderful and awful all at the same time. I hate seeing her cry for me when I drop her off. I hate getting up at 7. But I love watching her excel.. :) I think she enjoys school very much... I just think she is not to fond of being left. She is doing pretty good with "the potty"! Still at about one accident a day.
Noah is doing wonderful!! He is starting to talk some.. He has said. Mama, dada, drink, truck, and uh-oh! He is drinking very well and often out of his sippy!! I'm getting so close to freedom!! I told Brian that I will feel some what odd now that I will not be breastfeeding anymore... I have been doing it for a year now and it just feels normal...? Time for another?..haha!

Lacie's 3rd birthday party!
She is such a big girl! I can not believe how fast and slow time goes... Everyday seems sooo slow.. and every year seems soo fast?!! What's up with that? I don't know. I know she had a wonderful time!! Thank you everyone who came :) And thanks to everyone who bought Lacie a gift!! It blesses me to see she is so blessed with many wonderful people who love her. It was a great day!! And Lacie is still talking about her birthday.. and PRESENTS!! :D The next day on the way home from church she told me that she would like a present.. I said.. me too.. hahah!! She just looked at me like?? OK! Then lets get one! :)

I just loved this pic!! Alton blew out Lacie's candles for her the first time :) hehe!! So we had to light them again for her to blow them out!! I thought it was to funny!!

Easter

YES!... I know you are all thinking FINALLY an UPDATE!... :D I have been VERY busy!...
This was Easter~ I wish I would have had a suit for Noah... but I never found anything that I really liked! I thought Lacie looked adorable :) She got lots of complements on her dress... and her hair :) It was a good service.. and we all had a great day!

What's new with us

Ok. I know it's been a while since I have posted anything.. sorry everybody.
A little update.
Lacie is doing pretty good with the potty. She has about one accident a day.. Usually with poo.. :( ugh.
She is in speech therapy now. She is going 3 times a week. and doing well.
Noah is doing wonderful!!
He is starting to drink out of his sippy cup.
I'm so READY for him to be ONE .. and
get him weaned. :D
Oh, and Noah is pulling up on things and
walking around! My big boy!
And that's all about it!! We are doing great!

Potty

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgot about my blog. This past week I have been potty training Lacie! I'm proud to report that she is trained!! She is using the potty every time! And sometimes even going by herself!! What a big girl!!
And NO more DIAPERS... YAEE!

Here is the dress that Lacie wore to church this morning. Sorry I didn't get a picture of her in it. She did look very sweet. :) Anyway she needed a bow for this dress... so I made this one last night for her! I think it turned out pretty good. I really liked it. :)
